In the space of 2 weeks my laptop has died a second time AND I have managed to break another Kindle “>

The laptop is back with my IT guys but it looks like it has had it. A hardware issue, something to do with the power supply and the disc drive and making the Windows go crashy crashy and the ball bearings. I don’t know. I was concerned it had something to do with all the torrenting but they assure me no so I can continue to download copies of films like the Hunger Games and Midnight in Paris worry-free. Yay! Piracy!

Unlike bumbles, Kindles do NOT bounce. So when your Kindle hits your lovely Spanish terrazzo flooring it is not bueno. If you are counting, this makes number three! Thankfully my former housemate left behind one of those Wallander mysteries so I had something to read. Real books are not as much fun to read. Too big. Too heavy. Make my arms hurt. Plus I keep trying to select words I don’t know expecting the definition to pop up on screen.

Now I realize my emails are disappearing from my iPad. I KNOW i received an email from a friend about the Guiri network on LinkedIn but now it is mysteriously gone. And I was happily reading Grub Street the other day when it vanished. Making it real hard to get things done.
